Morning comes and I am so excited to get to get up and work with kids. I love children. It's killer hard work when I am in the cafeteria....I mean, fielding all of the questions, keeping the teachers happy by being sure everyone goes out on time and simply spending the whole time walking on really hard floors. Always moving. That moving and busyness makes the day go by very fast.
Life is like that. I think it's why some people don't like times of quietness. I need those quiet times. Peaceful times. Reflective times. These writing moments in my home are "stolen", making them feel less refreshing, but they do help some.
Today I want to remember to be engaged in my life. To enjoy each question. To sing loudly and from the heart. To feel the wind and relax in it. This is the day I've been given. Though I am troubled, I am still standing. Thanks be to God. So, I will revel in this day. Find the good. Ferret it out. Be thankful. Because I get to choose for myself.
