Our lives are a journey that we walk together not in order to become "good christian women," but rather to draw near to God so that we can reflect His light to those around us. Our stories, our paths, our dreams and our message are all unique. But we hold hands and walk boldly, fearlessly......onward...creating joy, hope, faith and peace in our wake.

Hide and Seek

Look to the Lord always.  Seek His face always.   I Chronicles 16:11
He loves me.  He loves you.  He loves the entire world.  Muslims.  Check.  Mormons.  Check.  Catholics.  Check.  Protestants.  Check.  Buddhists.  Check.  Atheists.  Check.  EVERYONE.  Not some.  The whole world.  He came to earth to prove it.  That's what Christmas is about.
But sometimes we feel like He's playing hide and seek with us.  Like we aren't able to find Him.  Like we are alone.  Unloved.  Unworthy.  Without hope.  That's when we are looking at ourselves.  Our problems.  Our ways.  Our circumstances.  But, if we adjust our siteline and look at Him instead, the rest becomes easier.  Because He DOES love us.  And care.  And carry our burdens.  And meet our needs.  When I get hopeless and beat down, I always know that I'm not looking.  I'm not seeking.  Because He's right here.  Hand on my shoulder.  Or carrying me.  Or doing whatever needs to be done to help me to stand firm.  I am not alone.  You are not alone.  We just need to look again.
grace to you.
