Our lives are a journey that we walk together not in order to become "good christian women," but rather to draw near to God so that we can reflect His light to those around us. Our stories, our paths, our dreams and our message are all unique. But we hold hands and walk boldly, fearlessly......onward...creating joy, hope, faith and peace in our wake.

Oxygen Hoggers

Some people in the world are oxygen hoggers.  It's as if they can empty a room of air.  They make it hard to breathe normally.  Often drama is involved.  Self centeredness.  They can be kids.  They can be adults.  It doesn't really matter their age.....they are really hard to deal with.  And, they always have as way of making others feel guilty for their choices, or troubles.  If they happen to be a member of your family, it's a struggle.  Because you love them.  Dearly and desperately.  But, they use you.  They make you feel badly if you don't give more and more.  All.  For them.  Nobody else matters.
Oxygen hoggers need to be cut back.  Need to be given boundaries.  If they aren't, they can destroy relationships.  Can keep peace from being in a home, class or workplace.  They view the one who sets boundaries as mean.  Threaten.  Moan.  Groan.  Complain.
But, they can change.  They need to change.  For their own good.  And for others' too.
grace to you.
